Trying out Ubuntu will only make you hate it. Everything will feel retarded because of how different it is to Win. Switching to Ubunut must be a conscious decision dictated by far more than curiosity. Otherwise, you'll get burned and start to unjustly hate Linux.

You could always burn Ubuntu to a CD or USB drive and try it out without actually having to install it.
I tried that a few years ago with the free CD's. Fucked up my PC. So some time later on my spare PC I was about to sell anyway I tired again with newer CD's. Got fucked again so I won't try that kinda shit again

Believe it or not it's Windows! The taskbar is hidden unless I scroll down. My monitor isn't the best but it will do for now

DockBarX, but used as an applet for Awn. The wall is from Coffin: The Art of Vampire Hunter D (which I don't own despite it being only $30 - no way for me to ship it from the US).
