That's like bitching that Florida isn't an eastern state, but "southeastern." Look, you draw a line from the east coast of Italy, straight north, and you've got the west on one side and the east on the other. And I'd barely consider Germany part of western civilization.

Everybody knows that anywhere in the world where you could so much as sniff the pungent stench of Soviet bad breath (like the Germans before them), those regions are marked today by extreme disregard for humanity and truth, and are therefore plagued by absurd corruption and poverty the like of which has never been heard of before; indeed, an unimaginable societal breakdown hitherto unknown to civilization, rivaled only by Indian and African barbarity, these too being other spheres that rejected western civilization in favor of central Eurasian socialism, and its many bastard children with Islam.

We don't? We're disgusted by European lack of respect for life. We are? I think you'll find that the U.S. Democratic/Socialist Party "backs" lots of nations on behalf of the UN and the EU, but the majority of Republican/Libertarian Americans would rather take back all of our soldiers and money and leave Europe and the rest of that hopeless old world to rot.

It's an official candidate, and it will most certainly soon be welcomed with much fanfare because the sovietized artificial EU bureaucrats don't give a flying shucks about actual human rights or actual democracy. We're talking about an empire and a culture that presided over the greatest advancement of humanity ever; technologically, morally, economically, aesthetically, and politically, improving regions of the world plagued by chaos for centuries, and as soon as the British withdrew their influence, everything went to hell. Terrorism, economic crises, slavery, wars, all due to the absence of Pax Britannica. The peak of this era of unparalleled progress, peace, and security, has been called La Belle Epoque for good reason. It was not the British Empire that plunged the 20th century into the chaos of anti-western mass murder and tyranny, but her enemies in Germany and Russia. Where did every other power lead us?
