I've only made one friend in this new program I'm in at school (which is where I am all the fucking time). Today I had a talk with her boyfriend about how I need to back off because he thinks something more is going on, which is bullshit because I don't believe in cheating and would never EVER do anything with someone elses girlfriend. Well, now she's avoiding me and I'm destined to be fucking alone all the god damn time. I'm going crazy and I have no social life. FUCK.

I cut the ties with most of my friends because, quite frankly, they weren't worth all the drama and they drink too much. Do I miss the social life? No. There's no drama and I can walk without my pants on.
I know this girl of yours is a cool friend, but if she didn't take the effort to explain to her boyfriend what it's like between the two of you, then it's not worth fretting. She obviously didn't care about you enough if she killed it so quickly.

Feels awful when the only friend you had doesn't give two shits. I'm just not the type of person to be alone, I need a social life otherwise I'm unhappy. I know some people who are content with being by themselves but I'm not one of them, I guess.

I'm guessing there were, in fact, two shits. The one she gave, and the one that was smakced outta her when her boyfriend went medieval.
It's not that some people need social life and some people don't need it. It's a matter of mental condition. You've been deprived of something you relied on and you want it back. You have two options: get your drug back (yes, social life is a kind of drug, relied heavily on in these hard, inhumane times) or learn to live without it through pain and hardship.

I found the integrated audio rear panel doesn't work on my motherboard despite enabling everything in bios/getting latest drivers/inserting all the audio jacks firmly in the appropriate color coded inputs and configuring all the sound options correctly. I have a sound card, but the only pci slot not covered by my video card is going towards my dial up modem so it's a case of no internet or no sound. I'm still within range of doing a RMA with newegg, but I really don't want to be unscrewing and generally taking everything apart and putting it back together again after a couple weeks of waiting for the back and forth with shipping with no working computer.
