Lovely Sheapherd.
I will most definetly take part in this.
In my opinion, I reckon you should have made a thread for everybody to see this. I doubt someone here would look back a page.

Just to reignite the debate a little, what do people make of Roy Keane saying Man Utd have lost their "fear factor" ?

The link to the story is http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/040910/2/6fg0.html

Personally I agree, as I said before teams think they have a chance against them now. I don't think teams think like that with Chelsea, yet, especially being held 0-0 at Villa, but they do against arsenal despite what coaches/players constantly say; pre-match it's all "we'll end the winning streak" or "we're up for it" etc, post-match it's "we knew it'd be tough" and "they were lucky".

I must also say I respect the fact a Man Utd player has said this, it pisses me off listening to Gary Neville when he goes on about Man Utd are just as good, Arsenal are just lucky etc, but even his own teamates like Keane and Silvestre accept Arsenal are better and Man Utd are on a slide back down from being on top for the last 10 years.

One other question while I'm here, what do you guys think was the worst refereeing decision of the weekend so far ? I'd go with Drogbas penalty claim - blatently fouled, then booked for diving ! hahaha. Plenty more to chose from ...

Totally agree mate.
But it's not just Gary Neville who seems to think that United are still the force they once were.Their fans are still looking through rose tinted spectacles at their team and still continue to believe that they are the best in the country.

I'd be more concerned that they're behind Portsmouth who also have a game in hand !!! 6 points from 5 games is bad for any team aiming for the title. I guess it's only early days yet, but I don't think they'll win the league, although I think they're still on for the FA cup if Arsenal and Chelsea do well in Europe.

What about Bolton though, I'm seriously impressed with how far they've come since being promoted, Okocha has always been class and they got a few other good players, but as a team they seem to be very organised most of the time and play pretty well - 3rd might be a little flattering, but it's good to see them doing well I think

Nope.
But,like Keano said, you don't have the same fearful effect on clubs anymore. The smaller clubs relish playing against Man U because they want to cause an upset.
It all started when Fergie's ego got damaged by Mr.Stam.
You guys should never have sold him.
