Absolutely mental film. What a ride. Amazing performances.

Insomnia (2002) with Al Capone and whole load of other big names. I enjoyed it, not perfect but it's an entertaining film nonetheless, dramatic ending. 7/10 from me.

Just watched Insidious and it's sequel. The first was definitely better and slightly more grounded, though I enjoyed them both quite a bit. Similar ideas to many horror films out there, different take and most of all production value. The first had some legitimately horrific scenes.

It kinda sucked. I thought the gnarly '80s robot effects felt out of place with the somber ensemble storyline.

Wolf of Wall street. Brilliant piece of cinema right thurr. Pretty much Goodfellas of Wall Street but less violent and more funny. A dime PIece of a movie for sure. Wish it would have had more Mcconaughey though.

I watched the Lord of the Rings Trilogy extended editions yesterday and the day before. Definitely among my favorite movies of all time.

I watched Blue Jasmine last night. Still not sure if I liked it or not. It was really cool how Woody had the two stories go in and out of each other to slowly paint you the whole picture. But I don't think the story was even worth telling. Cate Blanchett really kicked ass making me hate her annoying ass character, though.

The Wolverine. Much better than the first but the 3rd act lost its way a little.

Saw Takeshi Kitano's Beyond Outrage in an independent theater the other day. Really liked it however Brother and the first Outrage were far better.
