It's your beard. I don't think you are old enough to have a beard just yet. I might even go so far as to say it looks like bum fluff.

I'm 19. Maybe not a full beard no, but I was told I looked Mexican in a photo that was taken three-ish years ago-before I even had any real facial hair

Hey, Tails does have whiskers, so there's nothing shocking about that.

Though I can't say I expected them on your human form for some reason.
