Surprise bump but then last night was a surprise.

The streak is over

Reading that this was actually planned a few years back.

Yea we rewound the cable box and watched it over and over again. When you think about it, its booking genius. Its one of the biggest moments in wrestling. I actually don't have a problem with it now. It keeps it fresh and exciting. You could hear the jaws drop around the world, and there's even a considerable amount of people actually calling this a legit New Orleans screwjob. But its not, its actually perfect. I could really go into it, as I consider myself to be in the "smart" fans section of the universe, but what happened was actually done perfectly for many reasons. Perfect most of all, because at the very least its a moment you want to go back and watch over and over again for that excellent reaction. 70,000 and millions across the world, myself included, in an initial stunned silence, followed by the biggest "uuhhh what the fuck!" in wrestling.

Its the most shocking thing to happen in a long time and maybe starts a new era. People moaning that Brocks a part timer but Takers been a one match a year guy for how long? Brocks a legit badass and a good choice IMO and of course Taker would have had a say.

Reports saying Taker was taken straight to hospital due to a serious concussion.

Yea seen that. He's been handpicked by Mark. No doubt. If it were Bryan, Roman Reins, Cesaro......hell even Punk, I think the pressure and expectation would be far too much. But Lesnar along with Heyman was the best pick. It is the end of an era no doubt, and its a good thing.

Last year I was thinking if anyone should end it then it should be Punk but its a good thing they didn't with all things considered.

Wouldn't be surprised if Brock is champ going into next years Mania or at least wins it at Summerslam.

If they do go with Taker/Sting next year then the outcome could be a lot less predictable now Taker has a loss.

The morning-after reactions are glorious. I do agree with you Pete after the dust settled it was a great business decision. Definitely the most shocking finish since the 1997 Montreal screwjob.

If they do it right Brock vs Bryan could be massive for them.

Anyone catch the motionless Sting fan at raw last night? The fact that Sting had acted as a fan before had me thinking it was actually him.

Poor guy. He's really broken. What option other than retirement does he have?

Well you have to remember the concussion and near very serious neck injury but yes its time to call it a day and he did it putting someone over at WM which is the biggest way he could.
