This is nothing to be proud of. You're working at a shitty cinema for a shitty amount of money. Just because you're interested in films doesn't mean its going to be a good job. You're going to be standing around with a stupid hat all day. Go to university and then get a real job. Come back in a few years and tell us if you're a success or colossal failure (most likely).

Come on man don't be grim. A job's a job.

You don't need to to go University to make good money. So far I run my own trading business with profits of around £500 a week, not to mention playing poker almost full time, earning on average £150-200 a day. (not that I recommend the second one)

I see myself as quite clever, but lazy. I did well in school but dropped out of college as it wasn't for me. I'm only 19 years old aswell, so i'm not doing that badly in life. I want to aim higher, perhaps become a travelling Poker Pro and live somewhere in the States.

And it all started from flipping burgers in McDonalds. (good times indeed)

Good luck with your job, it's not all about money.

WHOA!!!!! Jobs are wicked!!

Good luck! It is better when you do something you like as well!

Although it would be cool if you became a director or something...

i'm an usher...i will take tickets and direct people to the right room; clean the lobby, arcade, bathrooms, and auditoriums; do room checks (go into a room while a movie is playing and check the temperature and make sure the screen is in focus); make sure people stay off of their cell phones and are being quiet, in the case they don't listen to me i kick them out or refer them to a manager or security officer; i do odd jobs like if somebody loses a cell phone or wallet i have to go help them look for it or if somebody throws trash in the parking lot i have to go pick it up; in the event of an emergency (ie. tornado, fire, power outage, etc.) i have to go into the auditoriums and take the proper measures to ensure the safety of the patrons; when i turn 18 i can change the letters of the sign outside and clean up bodily fluids...

thats my job in a nutshell

Sounds like a pretty neat job, not too much hassle or anything, and it doesn't sound too boring either! Is it part time, like, or are you finished in school?
