Serious-ish topic. Now I've been known to say the word "faggot" quite often and be derogatory, but in all honestly, gay people don't bother me at all, even most of the camp ones on TV really. My old workplace, one of the quite senior managers was gay, absolutely didn't bother me, he was actually one of the coolest boss-people there. So to me, it's not really an issue, how about you lot?

I also have no problem with gays, one of my teachers was gay and i'm sure you expect people always take the piss out of him, but everyone respected him and he was a decent guy. So what if someone's gay, as long as they ain't hurting nobody then theres no problem.

Well, I met a homosexual at my brother's wedding. He took a liking to me. He thought I was interested in him because I licked my lips during our conversation. At least, that's what I was told. But, he did not bother me, I talked to him about a lot of things. He was actually very conservative (politically), and liked Bush (the President). He asked what I thought about gay marriages... I told him if I were a priest, I couldn't marry him under God. I would let a judge marry them under the state or something... It was funny because himself and the maid of honor were competing for me, but neither of them won because I'm in love and not a homosexual.

Well since half the dojo are now confirmed racists, I thought I'd see how many were gaybashers as well! ;)

And TV seems to make us want to care with all the outragous examples of humans they insisted on stuffing into the Big Bro house, and the large level of gays, who you know are just "token", that they put on other TV shows...

I know quite a lot of gay people. Some of my secondary school (high school to you yanks) turned gay in the past few years. Well i say turned, they always were, but never told anyone.

So i've never had much of a problem with it. Personally i think it's a little unsettling, it doesn't seem completely natural, but they're my friends so I can deal with it.

What i don't like is stereotypical gays. I just want to kick them.

But seriously, I have a gay uncle, and he's a really cool guy, so I've never been bothered by it.
