Kadaokawa USA bought it and Bandai is distributing it. Very informative video about the whole deal starring Patricia Lee, The former pink Ranger, apparently.

Pink Space Ranger apparantly, which explains why I've never seen her before (she's hot though, which doesn't mean much really). But she was perfect for the part of Haruhi... so was the one in the maid's outfit whose name I can't remember.

I have the whole series already but I'd like to find a way to download the video in this link to complete the set.

I need to get the manga, since apparently it's highly superior and much longer. I thought the anime ended too suddenly.

That's very true. I definately went "huh?" when the final episode was done.

first, here's the link to download that video

Second: how many times do I gotta say the novel translation is the way to go. If you want to learn more about what else goes on in the story.

Third: Haruhi has been picked up for a second season, and will start sometime this coming fall. Clues point to the next season concentrating on The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi

Nope... it's about a girl who's on the lookout for aliens, time-travellers, espers and... erm... I forget what the last one is. Androids? Doesn't sound exciting with those words, but it's a good one to watch.

the last one is sliders acording to the book translation. Basically all its about is this girl who can change the laws of the universe at will. The catch is she doesn't even realize she can do this and so sometimes impossible things happen. Like aliens, time travellers, and espers. the sites been updated; now there's a subbed version of the video up.

Now that's just spoiling the entire plot!

As for the subs, I love the "espers" translation.

Anything not revealed in the first episode is a spoiler really IMO. It sets the scene and leaves the plot twists for later episodes.

Why do I think they're gonna have to cut out the Phoenix Wright parody? >_>

Its not that obvious. Definitely not as obvious as the Gundam reference. Which wasn't much of a reference as an actual clip of a Gundam.

This series was weird. I didn't find it funny (frankly, most Japanese humour is rubbish), but it was, for some reason, really addictive.

Also, the episode order was downright confusing.

I think part of the reason why this show was so popular was becasue of the order the episodes were in. It wasn't really groundbreaking in any other aspect besides the way it was presented. Interesting that this topic was revived. Word on the tubes is the second season has been confirmed for real this time, and its going to be based on "The Dissapearance of Suzumiya Haruhi." The best book in the series IMO.
