God damnit. You guys must be used to some REALLY big speeds since my flatmate said this was an 8mb line. She's not into lying about techy stuff so I believe it, and the test kinda backs it up since an 8mbit line is almost never actually 8mbit. It still seems like lightspeed compared to the 2 or 3 mbit line back at mum and dad's though. :(

Not bad considering the nearest server is so far away. A definite upgrade from my previous internet, at least. I would've gotten a ping of 400ms on a good day with my previous ISP.

Edit: Oh, my server is probably closer. The farther it is the less KB/s it will be. I already experimented with that.
