Definitely not jelly. Like you said these headphones are OK but way overpriced just for the name and style. Beyerdynamic are some of the best headphones i've ever used, if I walked in to Uni with the Dre beats ones (Music Tech and Popular Music) I would probably be laughed at by lecturers and students alike. That's not me sounding pretentious, it's lecturers who have worked with sound all there lives advising what's best and what's not. That being said, I'm sure they blow Peters ears away for the type of music I think he listens to.

Nicest set of cans I've owned. AT's "Grandioso" from Japan.

Just got them Friday. Properly burned in and ready to drop, loving them! Cherrywood is such class.
