Yea i have bought a lot of stuff from there. Its great how they leave the actual rrp tags on there. I got a long black trench coat for last winter for £39.99, and when it came out the tags said £149.99 :shock:

I tend not to buy graphic novels because of the price but I picked these up for £20 at a car boot sale this morning. With the exception of The Dark Knight Returns none of them have any kind of shelf wear and because I've read all the stories before they will probably stay that way.

I also bought this for £6 while I was there, I had one when I was a kid, it was awesome then and it's awesome now. I don't think I've seen a decent radio control car in years. I scared the shit out of my dog testing this, I think I'll probably give it to my nephew so that he can appreciate it like I did.

Thanks for the tip, I actually like the clothes but the price has always turned me off buying them.

My first step towards fixing my main PC. Got it for $59.99 shipped with a coupon code. I can't even imagine what the rest of the world pays for electronics, but I doubt they could get a decent motherboard for $60. :devillaugh:

All far too expensive for what I'd want to spend on clothes. My jacket cost me £70.

Jealousy isnt the word right now!

While it wasn't very expensive (as far as guitars go, and pretty much the lowest end on resonators), I found it was quite easy to save up the money when I'm not buying games I never have time to play, left, right and centre.
It's a Made in China git but that has become less and less an issue these past few years, and really, apart from a two small flaws in its finish (the f-hole ( :oops: ) on the lower end ( :oops: ) has some slightly rough dents in its borders), sounds really good, even with the stock strings it came with (D'Addarios 0,12 lights, when the resonator only really starts to sing with 0,16s). Despite being made of laminates, the bottom end is much, much better than my dreadnought (another made in China thing, but from a few years ago).
I'm also happy that apart from the resonator part it also includes other characteristics I wanted in an acoustic guitar, namely a larger nut width (1 3/4'';
that's what she said
), a smaller, shallower body, a bone nut, and hey, it's a Gretsch! I never thought I'd own one, so it seemed like a great opportunity, before they phase it out of next years' catalog. Something which I wasn't sure but I also have absolutely loved is the soft-V shaped neck, which feels amazing.
I can finally play the guitar comfortable, as fingerstyle on my dreadnought made it almost unplayable, and frustrating.

As I don't plan to buy more than one game until the end of the year (and maybe a few indies, but those are hardly a burden on the budget), I'm already planning a new investment
