Still watching Being Human (US) last nights ep was a little drawn out and lame how the last minute insta solve. Still loving this show. Only seen first 3 eps if the UK version.
Watched all eps of the US version so far

Really well-made so far. Great acting. The scene in the pilot where the two protagonists argue about the possibility of defecting is absolute gold. Some of the best acting I've seen in a tv show in a while.
This and Justified are just about the only shows I'm watching regularly at the moment.

Really interested in that show. I hope BBC pick it up over here.
Just finished with Breaking Bad S5 Part 1. The wait for Part 2 is a killer. Currently watching: Utopia (weird Channel 4 show) which is about a comic book where a bunch of internet forum folks meet up to look for the mysterious comic book which a bunch of people are killing for. It's got a lot of disturbing moments in it like a school shooting (which came off as just being a shock for the sake of a shock, really just looking for controversy) but aside from that, a pretty solid show.
Also watching Flashforward and it's pretty good so far, hope it picks up soon though.

I watched the first episode of walking Dead S03... when did it get so boring bah
The game ruined the series altogether by being so much more engaging

They have messed up the Prison arc which was awesome in the comics but i read they are dragging it out to season 4 as well so maybe S4 will be more like it is in the comic.
Still enjoyed it but it feels the writers have lost their way a little.

I've started getting into this sitcom called Rules of Engagement recently. It's not amazing or anything, but it's certainly the best sitcom I've seen in recent years. I've been of the opinion for years that after Friends and Frasier went off the air, laugh-track sitcoms just didn't feel as good anymore. I mean, How I Met Your Mother is okay, but it feels like it's trying too hard most of the time. And almost all others have just been completely forgettable.
But Rules of Engagement feels just right to me. Fuck it, I'll say it: I've always really liked David Spade. And this is just about the funniest I've ever found him. And I've come to the conclusion that Patrick Warburton is the greatest man currently alive in the world. Even unfunny lines sound hilarious when he says them. Add in the fact that Bianca Kajlich is easily one of the hottest women on tv, and you've got a show I'll keep on watching.
Rare that I find a show to latch on to, so it's always a breath of fresh air when I do.

Not watching currently but I just marathoned The Wire. Watch the entire series in one week for the first time and now I'm very sad that it's over. I think it's the greatest show ever, and I thought that was true of Breaking Bad but The Wire, oh boy.
Sure, it's not an episodic adrenaline fest but the story, writing, characters, cinematography, music, everything was done right.
