I did for about two years, then sometime about a year ago I hauled up the books I had stored in our storage room here in the basement back up to my room and started reading the ones I hadn't read yet. Now I've bought a lot these past few months too, some with Barnes and Noble giftcards, cash, some dirt cheap because they are second hand. But I'd say my collection has at least grown 33% since November. I really still do enjoy the stories a lot, and its a collection, so it never feels complete, and it really isn't.
During those two years I did get rid of merchandise, and the toys and figures are still boxed up in storage. But the books, they add so much, without the books I probably wouldn't even be into Star Wars or read as much. I already know the stories in the movies, I could go without seeing those again, especially the prequels, and its been a few years since I watched through one all the way. Even the Pre-Quel books are not quit as good as the ones that take place after the original trilogy, there a few good ones, but not as many.
Lastly, I still would prefer not to talk about it too much, its a guilty pleasure.
Now I'm on the next one. Book 6 of the NJO series, Balance Point.
