^ Absolutely right. I just laughed and changed the channel forever when they went so far as to do the "earth after people" crap. That's literally the opposite of history.

I don't like the show but still see plenty of amazing shows on history like Ancient Discoveries but yeah they have side tracked mostly.

I only asked since at one point they talked about too much of our society relies on digital media which would be lost within a short while so our culture would be lost.

Been meaning to read this for some time! Now the bulk of my coursework is out of the way I can get down to it.

If you want to commit yourself to a really well written fantasy series I'd go with this one. Solid read.
