Vanilla Pepsi = BLERRGHH!!

In an almost stealth-like move, the Pepsi Corporation has unleashed VANILLA PEPSI onto unsuspecting consumers.

I had to do a double take as I saw this in the store. I'm not much of a soda drinker, but I do like the occassional Vanilla Coke and Dr. Pepper, so I figured I'd give this a shot.

What we have here is a product that tastes similar to Vanilla Coke, with the exception being that it's 2 to 3 times SWEETER!
No, this is NOT a good thing either. It's just plain awful! It seems that Pepsi just can't make a good follow up product to its mainstay brand...witness the disgusting Pepsi Blue and Pepsi with Lemon...both products flopped big time. My suggestion...don't bother.

I saw a commercial for it the other day and For some reason I bet it will taste exactly like a product named vanilla coke.

Pretty much, but with the sweetness factor ramped up 2 or 3 times. :x

Be thankful you've never been subjected to that disaster of a soda. It was a Pepsi product that combined Pepsi Cola with some type of blue raspberry-flavored juice (similar to Hi-C or Hawaiian Punch), with the result being a fizzy, fruity/Cola flavored soda. The product had an unsettling deep blue color as well...

It may still be around, but in my part of the United States, the product has been pulled from all retail outlets. It didn't last more than 6 months.

I've never seen or even heard of Vanilla Pepsi, but after the horrible Pepsi Blue (I'd imagine this is what battery acid tastes like) I don't think I even dare to try it.... :?

Yeah, poor Coca Cola Company. Pepsi's gonna drive them right outta business, "stealing" their idea to mix their cola with cream soda. Genius move right there. What are you, a Coke shareholder? BTW, Coke DID steal the Lemon idea from Pepsi, so they're pretty much even. Why would you defend a multi-billion dollar corporation anyway?

'Cause I like Coke better than Pepsi. And Vanilla Pepsi, just like other Pepsi products, will fail miserably.
