if I were in that video, the title would be significantly longer. Something like "Professional gamer has massive orgy with booth babes in public, loses tournament but is still declared champion"

Now that's how you get women. Wear your heart on your sleeve and they don't care. Act like you just don't give a fuck and they'll be swooning. :P

In reality the headline would be more like:

American Serial Rapist apprehended at Korean Games Convention. Public Spanking to be held.

He's guilty, but I suspect that is hardly the reason the people and committees are cracking down on him. Most professional cyclists dope. That's the nature of the sport, so many do it that it is not so much an advantage to do as much as it is a disadvantage not to do. Doping isn't an advantage if everyone else is doing it too, it's just the new baseline. But few go after them with the zeal or levi the kind of punishments that they have gone with in taking Armstrong down. I suspect Armstrong is public enemy number one not because he doped but because he's an asshole. He has been the kind of thug that would make the mob proud, buying people off or intimidating them into silence with all the grace of a wise guy.

The sport is no way near as dirty as it was when Lance was doing it.

Technically, but in practice, with this well financed operation, he had access to the latest dodgy drugs and doctors and was apparently running "a sophisticated scam", so almost certainly did have an advantage. It had been going on a while, so they had plenty experience and practice at knowing what to do with those dodgy drugs too.

Those "clean" guys who had a chance at a decent career but didn't get one 'cos they always ended up at the back? Yeah that's gotta sting.
And the masseuse he publicly smeared as being a "prostitute" and "alcoholic"? The guy is a nasty piece of shit, TBH.

I did not mean to come off as saying "Cheating becomes OK when everyone is cheating too". But I do at least some what appreciate the kind of pressure athletes must feel when everyone placing in the top ten and many above all doped to make it happen. What I attempted to point out was just some of the hypocrisy that went on in cracking down so much harder on Lance for being an asshole when other athletes that cheated as he had instead got off far lighter for similar offenses. There is an asshole tax in play here that seems to result in stiffer penalties than for those that make the same mistakes without said arrogance and demeanor. I don't think anyone tuning in to the Oprah interviews did so to see if he'd admit to doping. We all knew he would. People tune into that to see if he's still acting like the same old piece of shit.
