I think this puts the notion that DC n WB can't do a JLA film because of how much it'd cost to pay the actors to shame. I still think Edward Norton's a bit of a cunt for not reprising his role as the Hulk too.

Looks great and while he was on for only 2 sec not sure about Banner yet. he does not look like banner to me. Oh well sure I will enjoy it anyways.

^^The thing about Bruce Banner is that he can look like anything, and it really doesn't matter. Pretty much any actor could play him, and it'd make little difference.His human look isn't iconic by any means. Only the giant green look matters.
And Mark Ruffalo is a good actor anyway. Maybe not as good as Norton, but he'll still be good, I'm sure.

Trailer looks great by the way. Only gripe I have: why the fuck did they change Captain America's outfit? The one in his self-titled movie was practically perfect, and now they've turned it into a brighter version more like the comics (which they actively made fun of in his own movie)...
Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and it definitely doesn't look as good as the other one.

^ I know I just got used to Norton even after one film. I also may be poisoned by hollywood as banner is always played by a young fairly good looking guy. This guy is plain and middleaged. Nothing wrong with that as it might fit the bill a bit better. Just saying hard to get used to and like I said I'm sure it won;t matter to me while watching. I know it's not like Reeves for Supes.

Norton got the boot cause Marvel didn't want him anymore. Marvel said they wanted people who will work together for an ensemble film but Norton was said to be preparing for the role until he was told he was out. Marvel denies it but they say its to cut the costs of the budget as Norton's asking price was probably the highest out of all the actors.

It would've been way more awesome if it was Norton or even Bana.

I just reckon Norton would bounce off Downey Jnr a hell of a lot better than this other guy who appears in shitloads of things but you can rarely remember what they are (thankfully, I watched Shutter Island again recently, so I've at least got one there)

This makes me wonder if we are coming to the peak of the superhero move era. I mean you have The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers coming out in the same year. I have a feeling the Avengers series and the new Superman movie will do well but what else can really follow that act? I think people are still interested in the big players but I don't think small time comic book characters have much of a chance.

^Watchmen did well and it's a cult comic. Not exactly a mainstream thing. Well known among comic fans but other than that nope. Also V for Vendetta did really well,A history of Violence and Sin City. Sin City 2 is in the works.

Watchmen actually underperformed at the box office. It made $108 million domestic and $185 million WW. While those are normally considered good numbers the budget was $130 million. Studios need to make double the budget to break even and thats no including promotional expenses. Maybe its doing good on dvd/blu ray but it wasnt so hot at the box office. Same with The Green Lantern.
