They are really doing Storm of swords justice so far.

Jaime is definitely my favourite character, his character arc is becoming rather fascinating.

The scene with Tywin and the council was pretty funny. Still a shame that Varys has had so little to do this season so far. Great season so far, looking forward to seeing what happens next, things are getting rather crazy, on all sides. I predict lots of backstabbing/betrayal.

Without giving anything away Varys role will get bigger the further they go into Storm of Swords. But yes they need more of him because Conleth Hill has been awesome as him.

It's so dark you can hardly see anything. They try to make it look epic but they use a lot of close-ups to hide just how small scale and low-budget the battle is. It's cheap camera and editing tricks. It looks like a typical TV programme.

How an epic battle is meant to be. Just look at the difference. It looks like it was made for cinema. It's in broad daylight so nothing is hidden. They proudly show just how huge and epic this battle is.

Keep waiting for them to drop the ball with S3 and its just not happening.

I never thought I'd feel sympathetic for Theon Greyjoy and Jaime Lannister but what do you know? I do. Episode 4 was great.

That Spartacus battle looks like it was made by collage students. Plenty of close ups and special effects right from the 90's [the high shots look terrible]. In fact they should have done the battle at night to hide the poor special effects.
