The awesome feeling of early retirement.

When I was a teen I said I wanted to retire before 30. I got it 3 years early but not how I pictured it. Either way glad I never have to work again and everyday that makes me happy.

This was a couple days ago, but still seems relevant to this topic. When I finally found the gba disc for the GCN that ryudo wanted. It's such a little thing, but I think after searching for over a week and tearing apart half of my room and going through old storage boxes of stuff I reached a point where I had looked in every corner and was facing the gloom of telling him I couldn't deliver. But soon before I logged on to pm I found it in an entirely other place of the house and immediately felt a sigh of relief. :lol:

It's a small thing. I just hate to not come through for a friend when I said I would (the memory of not being able to find a certain Saturn game I had that Hell still wanted to play loomed over me during the search ) so it was good to have that off my mind with the knowledge that after years of sitting in obscurity, my little gba player disc was about to find a good home.

As an added bonus, my room is now far more organized. $\:D/$ A woman with a disorganized room just does not do.

My room is the only place that I have complete control over. It's always clean and tidy. In general I don't mind things being messy but in my room I'm practically OCD.

i had an elderly customer call in this morning, absolutely upset about the fact that she got notified that she used over $200 of minute usage on her phone plan when she has been spending a lot of time calling doctors and the social security office, when i looked at the account, she actually had over $300 of usage. she was crying because she didn't know how she was going to manage it, and i was able to get it to where she would only pay 30 dollars more instead of the 300+ dollars more. made me feel good.

I adore this game. Anytime I play that first level or even see it no matter how bad of a mood I'm in. This makes me smile everytime. (ending makes you cry tho)

though the wii version is obviously graphically superior I preferred the art style of the playstation version

I didn't really understand the "hype" behind the ending being a tearjerker, personally. There isn't much development of the characters throughout the game to begin with, so I didn't really feel much of a connection with them, making the ending feel sad, sure, but definitely not the kind to even get me choked up. It felt like a really random attempt at such to me, because the rest of the game attempts nothing dramatic whatsoever. The ending almost felt out of place because of that.
Game is excellent regardless. Still meaning to get going on the sequel one of these days.

Anyway, what made me happy today...

Whenever the lazy idiots around this place fix my AC as I have told them many times I;m throwing up lot's of nose bleeds and had 3 days no sleep. My heart just can't take heat this this will kill me. For the love of fuck FIX IT. Then I will be happy
