The reason it is never used is because it's hidden. If it was open for all to see more people would post in there. It's happened a few times with people asking how do they view it.
I don't really care if we have a junk forum now since the mod team seem a bit more laid back, it was mainly used the last couple of years for a dumping ground of topics he-who-shall-not-be-named decided he didn't like and hid there.
