Question about animated shows/films.

Watching the Batman animated series and at one point Batman goes to a filing cabinet and the drawer is a different tone to the rest. Seems every time somethings going to be picked up/used its made to stand out.

Question is why do they do this?

you can tell which city someone's from in the UK. Hell, what town if you want. There may be less accents but as far as I can tell there's more variety.

Not trying to compete just that there is more in the US also helps the US is several times the size. TBH most US southern accents and NYC ones bug me.

After putting it off for so long, I finally sent my contact the email with the logline for DEUX. This is what I ended up going with (written exactly like this):

Struggling with an unpaid debt, a twenty something signs up as a weapons tester in a high-tech duel, but to get his pay he must defeat his next opponent--an adversary he can't seem to kill.

It felt like the best one to go with. It summarizes the plot pretty well, not only that the way its written is pleasing to the eyes and reads well. Hopefully attention grabbing. Crossing my fingers he sends this out to any agents, and pray to ANY CELESTIAL BEINGS OUT THERE IN THE STRATOSPHERE that one of them bites.

It's not on purpose. In old traditionally animated shows like B:TAS, all the animated elements are separate layers, and they can never really match the color perfectly with the static backgrounds, so that's why the tint is always more or less off. The consistency depends on the studio. Thus, quick jobs didn't strive to match colors as much as movie-quality productions. You get the idea.
