Makes you wonder how the mind would be occupied with out the magic box. hell we wouldnt even be gamers with out it. May be we would turn to books and reading for entertainment. Imagine this, Jersery Shore in novel form *shudder* Think its time to put this thought down.

Every form of entertainment is obsolete, anyhow, for human desire is insatiable. Ergo, the future will be the development of the permanent orgasm, and artificial higher levels of pleasure from there, till infinite pleasure is reached, celebrated like the first man on the Moon. Exploration will transform into the exploration of modes of existence, not the discovery of distance, although that will follow. As I have already told you, if you believe in materialism, humanity's inevitable destiny is for an infinite amount of individuals to come into existence in eternal pleasure. That will be the ultimate end state of the universe. Every and all space will contain a point of absolute pleasure, forever, and this will be all there is.

He was just a farmer but also wanted to bring that stuff to the home. He created the electrical TV and in the 20's the first format war. Mechanical TV vs Electrical. Electrical won obviously.RCA stole the credit until decades later he was given the real credit.
Fun fact two things invented in Utah. Television & The Traffic Light
