It's probably just because I'm old, but everything about this new one just looks bad.

Maybe we should wait til it comes out before we judge and judge it based on it's own merits instead of comparing it to something we grew up with. Nothing will ever compare if we keep holding it to something we are already biased towards and have a on high pedestal. I love the 1987 film as well and love the 87 suit. But this might be good. It might be bad. Either way I'm not going to hold it next to a child hood fave as in rose colored glasses will never be topped.

Tell you what watching it again recently, RoboCop 1 and 2 were pretty decent films. RC2 especially for the stop-motion.

I woulda loved to have watched Frank Miller's non-edited version. Still can't seem to get hold of his comic version (another reason I need Demonoid back!)

Yeah, that fan-coloured one looks like an improvement already.

My two cents on this is that, whilst I loved all three as a child, RC2 and 3 are actually utter shit. The first film is total gold, though. Amazing film. Awesome action, awesome satire. Awesome everything.

The script is an abomination.
Gary Oldman WHY do you have to be in this?!
Now i have to see it...

The design looks generic and no excuse for the colour change.
