Yes I am setting up a docs appointment. yes I used google. Not a lot of luck on google as everyone was different. This is also a setup for a joke to some of you. The pain is very real however.

Anytime I extend my middle finger on my left hand. I get a really sharp shooting pain. I mean I can take a lot of pain but this is very intense. I am trying to keep that hand immobilized. What I would like to know. Anyone know what could cause this?

lol, it's probably cramp or a pulled muscle. Nowt to be worried about. Just rub it like you're upstairs in your room jackin off, almost there, and you just heard your parents walkin through the front door. Keep it up until the pain completely goes n you'll be sorted.

Nah not a cramp. Been going on for 3 days. I'm thinking tendon but not sure. I go to IHC tomorrow. Real challenge is not to injure it more while asleep

You of all people should know that when you want to know what's wrong with you, Google is the LAST place you should turn (headache turns into brain tumor, etc.). :shock:

Moved anything real heavy in the few days before it started? Or do you remember hitting the finger or it getting hit head-on? I broke a finger at football once, and it wasn't until after a while that it got sore (as fuck)...

Yeah i don't understand why any one uses the net for health related things, always ends in worry.

My friend had a problem with her foot, looked online and was convinced she was going to have to lose it.

You still doin your workouts? Dunno what it is you're doin, but common sense says that if it's not anythin simple like a trapped nerve or cramp, it's gonna be related to that. You can't rip a tendon pressin buttons.

Well like I said I am heading to the doc tomorrow. I was just curious if any really knew. All I remember is waking up a couple days ago with some pain but thought just a cramp or something. I'm not sure if I hyper extended it or not.

From past experience mate I would just let the doc have a look at it, it will most likely me something and nothing. The problem with google or even other people's opinions on the internet is it might make you overthink it ha, it's happened to me before. Doc will sort you out no bother!

I'm not self diagnosing tho. I jut remember we had one or two member that were docs. So was curious if they had an idea. I was already heading to IHC tomorrow anyway. Was just simply curious. Sorry for committing such an atrocious crime.

I just went to the doctor yesterday myself. I was having intense chest shooting pains in the area of my heart. Thank god its not my heart though. It's the muscles in my chest wall, they are strained and sore and will heal in time. I also have acid reflux problems so I talked to him about that.
