Shenmue Dojo

10 years man. I know there is still a few been around longer. AxM,SEF,Ziming,Bambi and maybe a couple others. Still that is an eternity on a internet forum. Had ups and downs bad times and good times but still going. I have this sign that maybe Bambi remembers from Hazuki Dojo early days. " These are the good ol days" Tho I am a nostalgia nut sucker and may have said this many times,I find the current era my fave. Even with a few hiccups along the way.

Ever think you'd be here this long and 10 years ago think in 10 years still no sign of Shenmue III?

Not sure I've been here quite as long, I wasn't around RIGHT at the start, though I was on the forums before these.

EDIT: Fuck me, May 2003 on this one alone, so yeah, over ten years!

I used to make stupid jokes way back in the day of when 2 years was a "vet", about how I'd been there "over a decade, and never seen anything like this", etc. Now, I actually fucking can say that, if anyone were to set the bar...

That "these are the good old days" sig was very true as well, always liked that.

Though TBH, there is a damned great set of members posting here regularly again now.

The Dojo was a big part of my teenage years.

This also marks the 10th year on this same phpbb database after we left forumplanet!

I was 13 when I joined. Left for a while after the switch to gamespy then came back to the current board.Would be awesome if the dojo had a reunion.

Same as Spokane and Samanosuke; I was only 13 when I signed up back in '03. It was also my first ever PC. Ah, those were the days. I used to look forward to posting on here after high school. Like SEF, can't believe it's been 10 years for some of us and we used to joke about staying on here so long and yet here we all are.

Where are my 2006 members at? We can start talking about how we're ALMOST close to 10 years on the forum, and stuff..

Remember how nobody used the Phoenix skin forum? Made things impossible to see sometimes.

Like I said before a few times, I didn't even know what a forum really was. I was just on the main page and saw people talking and wanted to say something or become a part of it. I said some noobish shit and had a 100 posts or so then stopped posting for a about a year then came back. I have taken a few breaks that lasts months or a year. However I have posted on about 95% of the days for the last 2 years.

Ha! The Phoenix skin. I remember I used it once just to see why everybody hated it and it sucked, so I switched it back. Shit was ugly. *awaits Phoenix skin defence force*

I liked it a lot more than the default back then. Now I like this one more.

There was one or two guys who posted in a color where you could not read their posts without highlighting the text. I didn't like those 2 guys anyway.

Hey, when I joined I actually liked the Phoenix skin. It was my default loool
