I agree this place went through an extremely slow period a few months back, but it's picked up a bit again now. If you want to help make this place more busy again, then either:

A) invite some people to this place that you know would fit in. Or even get some of those old members back that have left ages ago, if you still keep in touch with any of them. I tried to with Clint and SEF; got one of them back anyway, shame about the lack of Clint, but hey, what can you do?

B) try other forums/message boards out. There's plenty of them nowadays.

Or just frequent the internet less.

That's the only way you're going to really sort out your issue here, I think. I'm personally fine with the way it is at the moment, it's peaceful. I predict it will pick up a bit pretty soon anyway, leading up to Christmas/New Year, since the likes of Peter, Who Really Cares and others who have said they'll come back soonish.

2 things grind my gears
1.) women think watching a movie together counts as spending time together. its the equivalent of sitting on the couch staring at the wall saying absolutely nothing.

2.) i walk in the door turn on the playstation for 2 hours and oooooo no, thats a problem. but if i walk in the door and watch tv for 2 hours, thats ok. the difference is a damn controller in my hand!
