I have been getting into writing lately after submitting my first short story to Amazon's publishing service. It has one download so far. My girlfriend. Gotta start somewhere.

After procrastinating and getting sick today, I finally managed to finish my last round of notes. All I need to do is look at my friend's notes and see if there's anything we can plausibly fit in there before writing the final draft. Then i'm calling it quits on this one.

It's a nice campy little script with great structure, which I'm proud of. Alot of moments are just right and are full of thrills where there need to be thrills, and surprises where there need to be surprises. I especially like the ending alot, I changed very little of it. There's nothing I can think of to improve the campiness but I think it's alright overall, especially given the people we're submitting this to.

After this, I have three script ideas that are just about to BURST out of my head. One of them is essentially fan fiction, but I can make it work into something sellable. Plus it'll be my way of exercising blockbuster writing.

Like not feeling that drowsiness from someone, and just thinking "she's ok", or "better fuck her than being alone", or that kind of jazz ??

Playing the emily is away game reminded me of my school crush, how I couldn't stop thinking about her, how I felt like being hit with a hammer on my head everytime I saw her eyes. And I compare that to my recent relationships, and it's not like that. There's some "catching the prey" kind of adrenaline, but not that "feeling".

Yeah, I feel that way, too. Don't know if it's me or the women. Might be bad luck or bad decisions concerning my partners, but could also be just me growing older and perceiving things differently. I really don't know, wish I could tell. The last time I truly felt in love, if that even exists, is about a decade ago. I occasionally tend to have dreams in which I meet someone nice and kinda get a surreal version of these feelings, waking up afterwards to a feeling of disappointment and loneliness mixed with a spirit of optimism and the desire to get something like that in real life. Don't know if it's possible though, so to come back to your question - yeah, sometimes I wonder ('being scared' might be too strong an expression here) if I can't feel like that anymore for another person.

Turns out I have the flu. And I forgot how serious the flu could be, even after the main symptoms go away, until I went to work and immediately got the stinkeye from everyone.

So I'm staying in for a whole week. Which would sound fun but since I decided to work at home rather than lie down, I got sicker. So i've been taking it easy.
