EDIT: I realize it's out of print, but was it only produced in very small runs when it was released or what?
I have that book. Would you believe I bought it new and sealed for £60.
You should scan it so peasants like myself can read it hahaha jk. You have read it though right? What's it like? I have been reading some forums posts about it and short excepts I could find at my local library. But info on it is scare to say the least.
It's excellent. It's mostly made up of interviews from the city dwellers and photographs of their environment, whether that's a school classroom, convenience store or factory. Surprisingly, almost every person weren't willing to move out of the city after the official announcement. One man had lived in the city most of his life. He lived in a small apartment, (with no natural light as someone had built alongside) and listened to a crackly radio all day long.
