By the next week, i'll have final drafts for two more of my scripts. Not only that but I have two friends who are working on two scripts of their own that are simply AMAZING. I'm trying to see if I can get one of them under my production company's name.

After that, It's getting another draft of Project Exodus done. Then after that, we're going public. With all this body of work, I can't imagine not getting a gig SOMEWHERE at least. But the goal is still to make a theatrical debut with "The Assignment", and based on what I was told...that one is pretty much ready to go. But I still think it can be better.

This is interesting for any Peter Tosh fans. I've never really heard Marlene give a proper long interview like this. It's an absolutely mad and tragic story how he died though. I never realised Marlene Brown was fully blown shot in the head like that, for trying to defend Peter! It's beyond me how anyone can regain any semblance of normality in their lives after going through such an event.

Sofia Coppola was dreadful. So so wooden. Stay behind the camera, love. Part one is the best btw.

If you check the Wikipedia article on Nepotism it actually references Francis Ford Coppola's casting of Sofia as Mary in the Godfather 3. Until checking that I didn't know he was also related to and largely responsible for the career of Nicolas Cage, sweet Jesus Francis.

The film itself it does have some salvageable scenes, I think Andy Garcia turned in a very decent performance, one that I'm not sure he's bettered since. As for Sofia, I agree with QWERTY, she turned out to be a pretty capable director, Lost in Translation is one of my favourite movies.
