Fine I will get them there 6th blender. To be fair, they are both old school gamers and love the dreamcast. Also, the love of Shenmue and the dreamcast is how we became friends.

I'm all for such a thing, but not when we're 19 trillion in debt.

The military budget is by far the largest single cost displayed. It is almost six times larger than the 2015 education budget and it is more than 34 times the size of NASA's 2015 operating budget. In total, the costs of running the military amount to approximately 16% of the overall 2015 US budget.

Cut from defense. We don't need an over-steroid infused military. We do need technological advances.

Space technology and exploration is so much more important than our temporary financial problems, outer space is the future and the human race absolutely has to expand and branch out into it if we ever want to relieve pressure from our current problems and not just the US but the entire world, and space is a damn good way to help do it. Not only does it get more people off our already over populated planet, but we get to learn more about the universe around us, and this needs to happen sooner rather than later for the sake of every human being.

NASA is more valuable than just developing space technology. Their findings and contributions have lead to numerous inventions that we use worldwide.

Far more valuable than some fucking trillion dollar jet that's not even finished.

I had a sizable wall of text, but I'll instead just say that I'm glad you guys aren't making our country's decisions, although I can't imagine you'd be much worse than who we're currently stuck with.

I'll drop this off again.

Is this some sort of a jab at kenny and I because our opinions are different? Its ok, I forgive you.

No, it's a jab at your idea that we (the US) can afford to fund NASA projects right now. As a matter of fact, I think Kenny is a pretty alright guy.

My apologies, it's never my intention to make it sound like I'm going after someone on a personal level. I'll admit that I tend to have a "I'm always right" attitude, but it seems like you guys don't take government spending very seriously (especially considering how out of control it already is).

I think we can at least agree that Mr. President George "dubb-ya" played a significant role in that, and everyone else after the fact is still trying to pick up all the pieces from the mess he had a huge hand in creating.

I agree with what you guys are saying (as in, NASA is more important than helping turn Syria into rubble), but to be fair, a lot of technology also comes from expensive military-related undertakings. Especially during war time (or even cold war time, lots of cool stuff was developed back then too).
