At the 50th anniversary Star Trek convention this weekend in NYC. Got my photo with Levar Burton yesterday and when I told him he was why I became an engineer, he gave me a fist bump. My life is complete now.

The first surgery was a success, not everything is perfect yet trying to get me stabilized and yesterday was one of the worst days of my life trying to deal with pain and cathiders *shivers* it was hell on earth yesterday but hopefully ill be getting out of here by wednesday. Also adjustig to the ileostomy bag is really weird too, my body just feels a big different good in some ways, bad in others. I will continue to update.

One of the few projects I have going on is finally at its final draft. This is something we're actually going into make into a feature with legitimate actors, crew, equipment, ect.
I'm very excited to get to this point. More to follow.

Not sure if evangelion is as amazing as I think it is, or is just the rose tinted glasses.
Also, peeling kiwis makes you understand that god likes to balance the world in mysterious ways.
Any other anime that has a similar approach to character deconstruction like eva ? hopefully that doesn't involve peeling kiwis ?
