Who knew you could be nostalgic about cups? If you were in the US and grew up in the 80s and early 90s you may remember these.

Kudos for getting Heavyarms. Always struck me as the most underrated of Gundam Wing's mecha (my friends in highschool all seemed to prefer the rest of them), but always remained my favorite.
Wish I had more time for model kit stuff. Dorky as hell hobby, but it's always fun and satisfying. Just takes freakin forever if you plan on going all out (with paint and glue and sanding and all that).

Honestly, it was probably my least favorite behind the Sandrock. Making the bullets and constantly reloading the thing with more and more ammunition between every battle seems like a design flaw. It always runs out too, at which point all it can do is use its fold out knife weapon. As Gundanium in Gundam Wing is practically invincible against anything not a beam saber, the Epyon always seemed like the one I would want to pilot the most. But yeah. It's all SUPER geeky. But who cares?

I think the best thing about Gunpla though is that there are wide ranges of complexity and grades. You don't need to invest in a 1/100 Master Grade to enjoy it. Even the 1/144 High Grades can be fun on a budget with limited time. I would suggest the Char Zaku HG that came out recently for starters. All it really needs is a black gundam marker for the panel lines.

OL got it with Pizza Hut. We would get a Pizza and they had an arcade machine as most Pizza places seemed to have back then.

that moment when im wondering if the staff can see when I have edited my posts like 4 or 5 times adding and changing grammar for maximum effect and I realize I have been doing this for years and maybe being poked fun about in the hidden staff forums all this time. :-k

People tend to celebrate the anniversary of Shenmue n the Dreamcast every year or so on here, yet the (current) Dojo turned 15 back in February without so much as a sniff.

My bad. In my defense, I've been far more focused on the future of the Dojo, rather than the past.

Over the course of the next 15 weeks (maybe less) I can sleep again.
