Why the hell did Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg do the forward? I'm tempted to read the book now just to find out what that's all about.

Picked this up today, wanted something more practical than the .45 I was carrying before. S&W Shield 9, also some dust on the shelf lol. Put 70 rounds or so through it earlier and it handles like a dream.

^I never asked what you actually do...if its legal.

Was it just the size or the weight of the .45? I've never dealt with one in the long term, like carrying it around for a whole day or something. I'll usually carry a knife instead.

I wish hand guns were still legal in the UK.

I work support for a company that requires a very particular set of skills. I just sit at a desk all day though, surfing the internet until something breaks. There's more to it, but that's the basics of it.

I love my .45, it just has some drawbacks for daily use. This one is almost 2 inches shorter, and shaves off a third of the weight. With them both having the same ammo capacity, there's almost no pros to the having the higher caliber (for me anyway). The .45 might have more stopping power, but in rapid fire situations the 9 will be more controllable making your shots easier to keep on target. And since I live in a crime ridden cespool of a city, I have my CHL and carry outside of work, making the 9 more ideal for my situation.

Have you ever been in a situation that required using your gun before?

Nope, I've never had to discharge a single round on the job.

Good job that you're the exact opposite of the gentleman in your avatar then, Raithos. You'd better watch out for those like Mr. Bickle out there. :)
When I go to the US on holiday sometime, I'm definitely going to try out having a go on a firing range.

I'd probably go to the range more, if only I were back in Texas. Firing indoors (which is all there is where I live) is kind of lame next to firing out in the open air on a sunny day in the desert.
