I don't think so either. They'd have to rewrite her origin in a way that Joker-Jason created her and she fell in love with him and so on, I can't see that being the case in this movie universe. It's too alternate-reality-like. Like those Earth-1 stories and whatever they have in the comics, or the Marvel 'ultimate' universe.

They already seem to be going with Harley's New 52 origin, which may as well be lame fan fiction anyway, what with the Joker forcibly making her into an analog for himself through chemicals, rather than manipulating her into insanity (as in the original Dini/Timm origin, which is the only one I'll fully accept). Wouldn't be hard for them to just say the original Joker didn't have a Harley Quinn, that she only came along when Leto's Joker threw her into a vat of acid.
It's not a hard origin to rearrange.
They do stuff like this all the time in the movies anyway, so worrying about it being too "alternate reality-like" is really no problem. The Tim Burton movies made it out that the Joker killed Batman's parents, for example. That throws a crazy wrench in all kinds of lore-essential stuff. The more recent movies made it out that Bane began as a member of the League of Shadows, rather than being the 'roided-out South American convict he originally was. This kind of stuff is all over the place already, so I don't think having a former Robin turn Joker is really all that nuts, nor is Harley being his gal rather than the original Joker's.
Hell, they could even make it that there wasn't another Joker before him; just say that something happened to Robin and he went batshit (heh) crazy, making him take up this clown persona and all that, no "original" involved. There are a thousand ways this stuff could go.

Hmm, yeah, okay. It's not impossible to do at all, that's true. Oh well, we'll see. I'm looking forward to it either way.
Just stumbled upon a new poster and two new spots. The Bruce Wayne / Alfred one is intense and makes me look forward to Afflek's Batman (and Bruce!) even more. It also makes me want to make the undubbed original version of the movie the first (or only) version I'll see.
Also, I can't believe how cool and true to the comics this Batman looks. I'm glad this is in Snyder's hands. Say about his directing skills what you want, but he's got the look and tone of it all nailed like no one else could.

Holy shit, the fight scene at the beginning of that trailer.
Dayum. Finally, some Batman action done right in live-action. Yeah, I always thought Nolan's stuff was pretty lacking when it came to the hand-to-hand stuff.
I also like the Superman moment at the very end of the trailer.

Have to watch it again, but I'd say that guy might have gotten knocked out offscreen by JGL? Or the choreography just plain sucks?

The fighting in the live action Bat films have always sucked. Up until now, that is.
This new trailer actually makes the movie look really good. How the fuck did they fuck that up by not releasing this first? I guess it's good timing since the release date is coming up.

Nah theres no Lex Luthor in TDKR, plus the story seems to be more centered around Superman in Dawn of Justice since its Man of Steels sequel. But yeah the comparison cant be avoided.

Well, technically it is since it directly follows up on the events in MoS and centers on Superman with Batman jumping in as his "antagonist" with WW joining in on the fun.

No, it's not. Man of Steel 2 will be a solo Supes film, this is a joint headline. It's more of a comic book format, where Part 1 is Superman #257, Part 2 is Batman/Superman #14, etc., then Superman #258 could be Part 7, part of a new arc, or just a solo adventure.
