Yeah. Plus as far as I know, if anything, then this is actually more of a Batman movie than a Superman movie. It's BvS, not SvB after all. And they're not really using Bruce as an antagonist. That dream sequence, the Zod battle flashback and so on - I think we'll see things mostly from his perspective and feel with him, understand his fears and his motivation to fight Supes. Lex is the antagonist, and Doomsday, and likely Darkside, pulling strings in the background to some extent (the trailers already showed his omega symbol and the parademons). Anyway, it's really not Man of Steel 2, although I get where Kenny is coming from with this. But Justice League Part 1 won't be Man of Steel 3 either.

The word "technically" and the use of quotations go over your heads, right? :P

You use italics with the word "technically" if it's use is to imply that it's strenuous. Standard means very matter-of-fact. Your English skills fail you.

It's a manga character that's become ridiculously popular with the "cult status" crowd. One Punch Man or summat along those lines. Shoulda called him One Hit Wonder I thought.

The Justice League has found its Commissioner Gordon.

Oscar winner J.K. Simmons has been cast as the Gotham City police commissioner.

Hope this doesn't mean his not coming back for Spider-Man...

^ I think it does.. and I don't think Disney would want to use an actor from the Sony-only movies for their new Spidey.. they'll want to make a clear cut from those. He was great as J.J., but they'll find someone else.

I like JK Simmons as an actor, but he seems like an odd fit for Jim Gordon. Honestly, I would have hoped for a slightly more obvious choice: Bryan Cranston.
But eh, they've got a Jesse Eisenberg version of Lex Luthor. What do I know?

Well, maybe the JK Simmons Gordon turns out to be Jason Todd, who is holding the real Gordon captive? Think about it. *J.* *J*onah *J*amesson. *J.*K. Simmons. *J*ason Todd. Kinda obvious actually.

Apparently the movie kinda sucks unless you're a fanboy (that may or may not be in denial), that seems to be the consensus.

Seeing it on Friday.
