Disney's Frozen

Postby Thief » Thu Oct 31, 2013 6:26 pm

A New trailer was released recently and it's much better than the older one

I'm really excited for this movie -- Tangled was probably the best Disney movie in a loooooooooong time, if not one of the best ever, and this one looks really promising.

Here's a song from the movie:

Alan Menken isn't doing the music for the movie anymore, and even though I love the demo from when he was on the project (see below), I think the movie will get along just fine without him.

Anyway, supes excited.

Misleading thread title. I thought old Walt had been cryogenically preserved, with an aim to one day be... reanimated.

It just hit me how annoying those little video pop ups and url eyesores are when watching a video. It doesn't look like you can turn them off with the touch of a button anymore either. agh.

More spoilers.

The "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" song sounds like it'll turn out really well. Loving the score so far.

Considering how much I really enjoyed Tangle, I plan on watching this one too. The trailer makes it look good.

They just moved it to be annoying. If you click the spinning gear thing that controls video resolution there should also be an "annotations off" button in there that will remove those little ads advertising other videos etc.

That's a little freaky, I'd never heard the rumor. Whoever started it was probably just making the same pun as me and then some idiots took it seriously.

It looks promising but a bit bland at the same time. Conflicted here.

You already saw it, Thief? MOTY, really? Please gives us a mini review if you will.

I'm not particularly good with reviews but I'll list a few things I thought about it. The characters are really strong -- and all the actors portray their parts perfectly. It is a musical, so if that's not your thing beware (aka stop being such a lamewad :P), and the score is incredibly good -- Disney hasn't been this good since Menken was doing the music for Beauty and the Beast. The animation is amazing; the sweeping snowy landscape and ice is jaw-dropingly gorgeous. While some things will turn out how you'd think they would -- the movie certainly does its fair share of breaking the norm.

It's anything but bland -- disney trailers are a hard thing to trust because they're marketed towards children… so the trailers will be cut in a way that's meant for children. This is not a children's movie though -- well it obviously is but it's not that dreamworks madagascar shit. This is good.

Ultimately I'm very pleased. The movie turned out exactly as good as I thought it'd be- really good.
