Yeah you have to pick your top 3 for any category you decide to vote for.
If you're having a hard time coming up with names you could try going here to get a general idea of who some of the more active members are:

Maybe you should extend it. The last Dojo Awards were done in January this year. Gives people more time to get back into routine after Christmas break..
