Use an ounce of marijuana for recreational use, go to jail. Kill 4 people while drunk, get counseling. What a sorry state of justice we now have.
At 16 years old he wasn't old enough to buy alcohol, so he stole it instead. Has been driving illegally since 13, once caught with a naked under age girl. (he got ticketed) This time he killed four people. The defense argued it isn't fair to punish him with jail time because he didn't know any better as a result of being taught his entire life that being wealthy enables one to avoid consequences for ones behavior. The judge agreed, reinforcing the message by giving him counseling in a high class $450k a year "treatment" resort for one year. I must say, I think we all know being rich means being held to a different standard. But it still sucks having it thrown in our faces so regularly.
