I'm 37 now and still excited. I guess age doesn't help from being childish about game announcements. Well maybe it gets better when your're like 60+...

I'm older than you, MK and I'm totally stoked about Shenmue 3 coming down the pipe.

That is, I will be stoked once I wake up from my afternoon nap.

I've got a question about the history. I remember years ago, there was a split or something here and some members left to found the Hazuki Dojo or whatever it was called. How did that start and what actually happened? I wish there was a good history page about this site. I'm sure the history of this place is just as fascinating as the games themselves.

Oh man. I have so many memories. I hate going back and reading my horrible horrible posts.

A few that come to mind

1. I'm pretty sure I could out post everyone! I remember a shit load of my posts were deleted on the dojo, and I was at RP almost all day everyday.

2. I remember when RP after the split came, there was like a...points system that gave you points for different things. One of the things you got points for was posting news links. I would just take news from yahoo and get it over to RP in an effort to always be the top point holder...it was always neck and neck between me and Kyodai

3. I remember the huge MSN chats and hilariousness

4. Right when the split went down me and Darkside went on our "fuck hellraiser" spree

5. Me and Juanfran tried to convince people I was a lesbian.

I literally could talk all freaking day about what I remember....this was my first forum I actually committed too, and the first place a young man with nerdy hobbies could talk to like minded internet friends.

MK is genuine Dojo legend. The only reason I initially signed up to this shithole was because I saw a post made by MK about him considering selling a Yu signed Shenmue. At the time I had quite a lot of disposable income, so asked him if he'd sell it to me, and he agreed to sell it for £200. I must also comment, he packed it incredibly thoroughly and carefully in an empty box of German biscuits. About 6 months later I also bought a Yu signed bootleg copy of the Shenmue Orchestra CD, I can't remember how much for. My man MK was like my fence, or dealer or something. A couple years later I auctioned both of those things and donated the profits to charities helping with the tsunami disaster in Japan in 2011. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to auction properly, and so they only ever showed up on EU ebay, and thus they sold for far less than they should have. It was stil better than nothing though. I wonder who has them now, definitley someone on here.

But anyway my point is, MK is a true OG leg end out here, salute.

I was 15 when I joined here. I'm 26 now. 1 of only 2 forums I've ever joined. Good to seeya back Santino.
