UK General Election

Not a topic yelling at you telling you who you should vote for but just encouraging you to vote no matter who it is you support. Voting is something some people can't do at all and it shocks me how people can't care enough to look once every 5 years at whats on offer. People will sit back and say there's no point voting as politicians are all just liars but the way to change that is vote for people you feel can change the system and not just cross your arms and moan.

Even if you don't have a clue who you want to vote for do something like this quiz: https://uk.isidewith.com/political-quiz

I'd vote if there was an option reading "none".

I'm voting greens as their policies appear completely sane and feasible.

Considering my election is here, in "Northern Ireland".... I could look in my pockets, on the soles of my shoes, raid my Shenmue Collection, in my work drawers, on a bin on the street and even in a lost and found box in the local charity shop, and I still couldnt find a single fuck to give.

Not that I am lazy or don't believe it will have any affect or I have no interest. I love politics. I've a Bsc Hons. degree in politics. But whatever party the people here vote for makes no difference to us. Just what salaries they get. They will all make the same decisions and argue over the Troubles, the welfare system, and what departments to cut money from. In that order.

The problem with up-and-coming parties like the green lot is that they only ever really work off estimations of budgets, debt, etc.

If they ever did get into power (they'll probably only get a good enough chance when our seniors either stop voting or eventually die) then the policies that they want to implement may not be economically feasible. Just depends on how honest the previous lot are about the current situation. Pretty sure the Tories had the same problem when they took over from Labour.

I'm not a ukip voter but it's ridiculous how people are trying to portray them as a nazi party and trying to publically shame anyone voting for them.

Goodbye NHS, human rights, beautiful British countryside, minimum wage, racial equality, being part of the EU... fucking benefits for the disabled! Ad infinitum. This country is fucked. Yeah there is never anyone truly influential that breaks the mold and makes you believe in them but FFS don't be so apathetic and not take any interest in choosing between the lesser of two evils. Fuck you lazy cunts that ignore this shit. Just as long as you're ok then that's all good isn't it?

All this shit about privatising the NHS is utter bollocks. Before any of this came out, everyone was moaning that they're overworked. What they've done is taken a chunk of money and hired private health facilities to do research and development of treatments, vaccines, cures, etc.

This is money that would have gone to the NHS, but has gone elsewhere to decrease their workload. The work is being done for the NHS. It is not being privatised. You still receive the same shit you would've got in the first place.

Ed Milliband is Ryo.
You should've voted Labour to support Shenmue.

Just joking.

I voted SNP, but I'm not that outraged that the tories won. Kinda surprised that they did though. Surprised that bigot Farage stepped down also. ;-)
