Hate to be that guy, but I can't pass up the opportunity to plug a documentary I had a huge hand in playing the past couple of years. I wrote, co-directed, produced, and edited (the latter two I got credited for).

I'm not 100% satisfied with it, to be honest. There was alot I wanted to put in there but of course...Hollywood. But what I am proud of is how much content we were able to stuff in the final hours as well as (somehow) pull off a cohesive narrative with the low-fi footage we had to work with.

I wish I fixed some of the audio issues and added more b-roll, but hey...learning curve. The doc fits my artistic sensibilities so well, I'm really happy to be associated with it overall.

Do you guys have any plans of getting this up online elsewhere like Netflix or Amazon?

Also what was the Sasha Grey interview like? As delicious as she looks she actually seems pretty chill.

Yeah, Hulu and Amazon are next on our list. Vimeo was just easier to work with cause the former two have rigorous quality standards and they take FOREVER to put it up (2-3 months, to be exact). Netflix would be nice but my employers never did business with them, so who knows.

I didn't interview Sasha Grey myself, the director did. She seems okay but we tried to get an updated interview, no response from her people. We almost got Asa Akira.

Ok thanks for the info. I watch very few movies so it might take me a while to get around to it but I'll definitely be watching this. I'm actually really interested in David Choe ever since I heard him on Howard Stern.

That's pretty much how I found out about him too before I had the opportunity to tell the story of his life.

There are ALOT of fascinating things about the guy. So many that we didn't have enough runtime to fit them all in there.

I'm just finding out the hardcore fans of the man are hating this doc but can't really blame them. It's really a recut of the original doc, Dirty Hands. Albeit with a newer, cheesier title.
