Never been into his music much personally but I always appreciated his influence and what a legend he is. These influential figures are dropping like flies nowadays and it makes me sad. Just to think that in just over a decade we will probably lose a lot more legends and what we will be left with is not really anybody in the music sphere that can stand up to these greats; these kind of music (or "icons" if you so wish) stand out so much when put against the talent of today, that's just me though. I'm not the nostalgic type for this music since I wasn't around during the 60s/70s/80s etc but it's pretty obvious to see.

Precisely it.

We really don't have much to match up to these greats.

Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey has died at the age of 67, the band has announced.

He died in New York City on Monday from complications arising from rheumatoid arthritis, colitis and pneumonia.

"Words can neither describe our sorrow, nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us," his family and fellow band members said.

Just read that.

As cruel as it is to guess, I really fear for a man who has brought so much laughter to my life. Since I was a young boy, listening to my dad's record collection, from the Eagles (RIP Glen) to ACDC etc. But he also had a few of his original stand up gigs from Glasgow pubs and I have roared for 25 years at them. To this day I still listen to them....

Billy Connolly has had a terrible few years, being hit would double cancer. First prostate, which he had removed. After that, Parkinsons. It looks as if it's taken its toll on him, but he's still touring. He has to sit down now and talk slower and softer due to his medication making his balance way off, and getting light headed. He can't smoke cigars or play his banjo anymore, and he has to grip the stool he sits on to stop his left side of his body from trembling. It's a matter of time, and i regret never seeing him live. He's being honoured with an award at the Comedy Awards on ITV on Wednesday night and I would say it will be the last time you see him on TV.

The conspiracy folks believe David Bowie's death was a hoax. This person Jack Steven sounds like him, and there isn't much information if you look him up. So yeah he's in disguise as Jack Steven...

It's too early for me to be posting this, but DMX was found clinically dead in a hotel parking lot. They were able to revive him, however there's still a good chance he'll die in the hospital.

I hope not, he was one of the best that ever did it, and one of my all time favorite rappers. Also, Belly, Romeo Must Die, and Cradle 2 The Grave.
