Stir Crazy, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory... I always loved watching him. He was a phenomenal comedian, and an even better actor, but all things must come to an end. Rest in peace, Gene.

Seeing Blazing Saddles as a teenager pretty much defined my sense of humour.

What a shame. Always loved Silver Streak too. There's hardly any great actors and writers from this era left.
