It was good in order to try the new moves, and practice the complicated ones, but I agree it was boring *having* to train so much in order to max out the moves.

A quicker (or less range) progression would have been better IMO in Shenmue I, but on the other hand training should have remained an option in Shenmue II.

Yeah I agree if they made it a bit faster i would be very happy.

I usually went into a routine. Everday I would go into the park around 9a.m. and train for 3 hours. So at around 12 I would go to the Abe Store buy some chocolate or crisps or caramel and a drink from outside. After all you gotta be tired after training for 3 hours straight!.......I'm sad aren't I? lol

That's pretty cool actually, i never thought of making a routine...hmmm... Anyways, shenmue 1 training gets boring after a while. Then you don't wanna do it anymore. Besides, you could be out doing better things.
