How could you say more freedom when this is the first game that gave you this much freedom as a character in a long time, I do give it 10/10

More freedom as in choose what to say, everystore has shopping abilities, every objects has something that can be done, etc.

id say 8/10.

While this was a great game, there were too many problems to be ignored.

A+
100%
10/10

Better voice acting would have made it even better.. somehow.. Even to now, it's the best game I've ever played with Shenmue II in 2nd place ;)

I'd give it a 97 out of 100. I was not really into it for a while... But when I got to disc 3 it just got better and better! Immedietly after finishing it I started a new game. It was more fun when I knew where everything was. That was one of the probloms I had. It was very hard finding where you had to go next if you didn't have any kind of player guide. Also the lifelike motions of drinking a soda and getting all of those wonderful sega toys were incredible!......the first 8 times....... I wanted a complete collection so I spent quite a while at those machines. Shenmue 2 corrected this by doing it all much faster while also making it a sinch to find your next objective. I also like assigning a move to the R button that was taken out of 2. I would of parry, then hit R (That I often set Arm Break Fire to) and I could win the 70 man battle by just playing defensivly. Also, I think the difficutly of the battles is a tad unbalencd. I beat the thughs easily on my first try most of the time but Chai completely kicked my butt like no ones business. I got the game the first week it came out(after seeing it on a 16x9 hd tv in high resolution tv in my mall avertising it) but I was to late to get the limited edition. But it was just this febuary that I finaly beat chai in the arcade with the forward plus kick attack... frusterating how all this time no matter how many times a fought him no matter what I did was I always lost...only to beat him easily with that silly kick. A error in the AI but still tough otherwise. All and all I like how Shenmue isn't just about a quicky story and just come up with anouther to add on for a sequal giving you a reason to play, but rather have one, huge story told over the course of many games. The story has hooked me and I want more! Shenmue is a series with guts. It cost over 70 million to make and even though they didn't come close to breaking even they continue. Well thats my piece. But seriously, in order to post a review you have to be a registered user of the Shenmue Dojo forums. Do you really think anyone's going to post a bad reveiw here?!

Nice talking!
No I don't think anyone will post a bad review cuz that's not what this game deserves.
If you played the game you MUST love it I think...
