theres a girl at my school called NAOMI and i sometimes call her NOZOMI by accident!! lol , luckily she never notices.

Hate to break it to ya, pal, but I'm willing to be she does notice! It's her name, after all!

she dont or she would of mentioned it to me, i talk quite quick so i think thats why she doesent notice, anyway ive left school now so i probably wont see her often anymore

I have a few Shenmue experiences in my life.

One is that I actually saw the real "Global Travel Agency" before,
it's not exactly like the one in Shenmue since it's not Japanese,
it's Vietnamese, so I think it's kind of close enough.

The second is that I remember that while on a field trip, I was hiking and the area I was in reminded me so much of the forests of Guilin,
I even hummed some of the music from Guilin.

I also go to the local Chinatown in Toronto and going there and seeing the markets just reminds me of Shenmue so much.

I wish I had more Shenmue experiences, but who knows?
I could have more.

Lol, I was going to mention something about that advert. When I first saw it, I thought it was a Shenmue-2 advert. I have to say, whoever done that was noticeably influenced by Shenmue. Did you allso notice the bridge in the ad? It looks allmost identicle to that of Shenhua's flashback. The same goes for that tree--exactly the same!

Everyday, when I walk home from school, I take a shortcut through a forrest, and it reminds me about Guilin a lot, theres also this picture of Guilin in our geographic book, it's neat.
I had this chinese friend who talked a lot like Ren, if you're thinking of tunes in the voice.....
In the city I live in theres a center with this fontain and loads of pigeons around it.
And for some reason theres a lot of red motorbikes here too, I always think of Joy when passing one...

Often when I'm in a store I'll see a capsule toy machine and buy a toy (later throwing it out because it is a completly worthless piece of crap. Anyway, when I use it I put the money in a turn the knob, open the capsule, and make a comment in the same way Ryo does.
