I always thought Nozomi to be a pretty minor character. I don't think she's coming back.

Y'never know, though... The only way I see it happening is if Shenhua dies in the final battle or something.

It seems quite probable, IMO, that you didn't play the first game properly. If you did, you'd know the deep affection Ryo and Nozomi hold for one another, and you'd know that she is more than just a minor character.

Don't get me wrong; I know there's a little something between them. I called her during the last day; I remember Ryo saying that there were "things he needed to take care of first" in Shenmue II. I just don't think it was meant to be.

Not to say it won't happen, but I don't expect it.

nozomi, they love each other. that destiny shiet about shenhua and ryo together? thats... shit. there is no evidence that ryo and shenhua would be together in a relationship. its the mirrors that bring them together. maybe ren and shenhua? =) guizhang and joy being other than friends? (^^)

No, I'm just like 6 yrs old...

I think Nozomi and Ryo would make it too much of a "girly" game. Reminds me of fluffy kittens and smelly flowers. Like I said, Ryo is cool being a loner, but if he has to end up with one my first pick would probably be Shenhua, then Joy. Nozomi would be near the bottom of the list with Megumi and Fang Mei.
