Ok, I JUST noticed that...

There is a working clock over Maeda Barbershop's door. Man this game is detailed! I happened to look up, and there it is. Ad the cool part is it isn't a piece of background, it actually keeps gametime...

There's quite a few clocks like that throughout Shenmue. Yes, it is indeed a nice touch.

Yeah, only yesterday I seen a cutscene about the kitten that I'd never seen before, the one where Ryo talks to Kyoko and her brother while walking out of the shrine, then you hear Naoyuki calling them in the distance so they have to go. It never ceases to amaze me how much effort they put into the game.

And isn't their a working clock in Ryo's house as well?

Ah yes, I think I remember that cutscene. I also have found more new stuff, like when you get tired of Mark and throw him into the ocean, or taking a bat to Mario in the Pizzeria...

No but really, lots of new things I'm finding with each play.

I was just playing through Shenmue II, and noticed working clocks in a few rooms of the Dancing Dragon Building in Kowloon. Just random rooms I wondered into, yet the working clocks were there, complete with pendulum.

The clocks are nice, but I always get caught up in the mirrors.

Yeah they have functioning clocks with the exact time in just about every run down, shithole apartment room in Shenmue II. Kind of weird to walk into a slum with a TV, Clock, and Refridgerator, stove, sofa.....
